朝は7時前には目覚めたけどもう少ししてから起きました。昨日持ち帰ったから揚げ弁当の残りを食べました。胆嚢がないので特にツアー中は一度にたくさん食べないようにしています。
I woke up before 7:00 in the morning but got up a little later. I ate the rest of the fried chicken bento I brought home yesterday. I don’t have a gall bladder so I try not to eat too much at once, especially during the tour.
11時にポールさんが迎えに来てくれて、先ず空港へ直子達の荷物を引き取りに行きました。その後郵便局に寄ってからポールさんの家と貸し倉庫に行ってCDやTシャツなどをピックアップ。レンタル楽器屋さんに行ってスネアとシンバルを積み込みゴールドコーストへ。約1時間のドライブでホテルに到着。
Paul picked us up at 11:00 a.m. and we went to the airport to pick up Naoko’s guitar and her luggages. After that, we dropped by the post office, then went to Paul’s house and a rental warehouse to pick up CDs, T-shirts, and other items. We went to a rental music store, loaded up the snare and cymbals, and drove to the Gold Coast. After about an hour’s drive, we arrived at the hotel.
ホテルから海が見えて地名通りサーファーズパラダイス！
The hotel has a view of the ocean and, as the name of the place suggests, Surfer’s Paradise!
近くのお店でサンドイッチを買ってホテルで食べて会場へ。
I bought a sandwich at a nearby store and ate it at the hotel before heading to the venue.
サウンドマンのグレッグ会場で再会。

サウンドチェックをしてポールさんと4人でお寿司を食べに行きました。
We did a sound check and Paul and we went out for sushi.
中々パンクな感じの会場です。
Today’s place is punk venue.
今回、ホバート以外のアデレイドまではリガージテイターのベン・エリー率いるMUNGO FUNGOとブリスベンのバンドTHE GLYCEREENSがサポートしてくれます。
This time, the band will tour to Adelaide except Hobart with Ben Ely from Regurgitators and MUNGO FUNGO, and the Brisbane band THE GLYCEREENS.
今年初のライブは盛り上がって終了！
