I’m back from Tokyo right now.
We went to Tokyo by car on December 30th and played at Countdown Japan festival at Makuhari, Chiba prefecture on the New Year’s Eve. See this site.

Our stage was totally packed! Thank you for coming to our show.
I enjoyed Countdown Japan Fes. a lot. Three guys from Beatcrusaders joined at our stage and danced with the guitars. It was so fun. I saw The Cro-Magnons and eastern youth. Their play was great.
In Japan most of all people celebrate New Year’s Day but I was driving all day long. I don’t feel like New Year’s Day but tomorrow will become my New Year’s Day.
Then I came home from the Fes. and found a mail from Mr. Kushima who is a scholar of Showa period’s sub-culture at my mail box. He sent me his magazine Shonen Kaiko Ou and one more fantastic present for me. I was very surprised and it made me very happy. The present was Shonen Knife brand paper knife. The band name Shonen Knife came from that paper knife. Anyway, I’ll update the photo of it soon. Thanx Mr. Kushima!
Have a happy new year!!!
