Saturday, October 12th 2013 live at Juso Fandango, Osaka Japan
ヨーロッパツアーから帰って初のライブはわれらが大阪ファンダンゴにて。
ロックなバンドが集まって、ファンダンゴ26周年記念のライブです。
We played at “Juso Fandango” Osaka as the first show after we came back from European tour. It was the 26th anniversary show of Fandango.
十（とう）三（みっつ）でトミータウンって、なんだか712(なな、いち、ふたつ、でナイフ）に通じるものが。真ん中の小便小僧の絵は、「小便横丁」というストリートが十三にあるから、らしい。実際、このアーケードの中に小便小僧の像があったよ。像の後ろに知らんおっちゃんがずーっと座っていたので、写真が撮れなかった。残念。
空き時間に、駅前の喜八洲でみたらしだんごをおみやげに買いました。かつて、「おとうさんのおみやげ」の定番のひとつはここの酒まんじゅうだったなぁ。
This town is called Tommy Town which was named by “Juso”. “Juso” is 「十三」 in Kanji character which means 13. 13 consists of 10 and 3. We pronounced 10 is “To” and 3 is “Mittsu”. “To” and “Mittsu” conbined together, it became “To-Mi” “Tomi” and “Tommy” town.
Anyway, Japanese people like to create words with the Kanji character and pronunciation. They also like shorten the words.
The mascot charactor of “Tommy Town” is a Piss Boy which is from a street called “Piss Lane” in this Juso Town. Actually, there is a Piss Boy but I couldn’t take a picture because a guy was sitting behind of the statue all throught the time.
会場の表には、26周年記念の旗が飾ってあって、そこには「少年ナイフ」の文字もあるよ。
There is a banner of 26th anniversary. You can see our name “Shonen Knife” on it.
わたしたちのライブは、ヨーロッパツアーの興奮そのままに、ハードな演奏ができたのではないでしょうか。たーくさんのお客さんと楽しいひと時を共有できました。ありがとう！
ライブの写真は、わたしたちの後に演奏した、おなじみ「原爆オナニーズ」。独特のグルーヴがあって、わたしは、演奏中ずっとリズムに合わせて体が自然に動いていました。感じることのできるライブってすばらしいね。
12月は15日、21日、22日に大阪、東京、名古屋で「スペースクリスマス」ツアーをします。感じてわくわくしてもらえるライブにしたいです。ぜひお越しください。

The live photos are “Genbaku Onnanies”. Their music have a unique groove and I was dancing during their show. The show we can feel music is wonderful.
Shonen Knife will play “Space Xmas tour 2013” in December. Osaka on 15th, Tokyo on 21st and Nagoya on 22nd. We hope to play groovy ROCK music. Please come to our show and have a good time.
