Sunday, June 5th “Bar Carol King 10th Anniversary” at Taku Taku, Kyoto
京都 西木屋町のバー、Carol King10周年のイベントに呼んでもらいました。Bar Carol Kingは、片山ブレイカーズのベーシスト、トムくんがオーナーのお店です。
Bar Carol King is owned by Tom, a bassist of a Kyoto based rock’n’roll band Katayama Breakers. Our former drummer Emi have ever joined it as a support drummer. That’s why I know this bar.

今まで、3回ぐらいおじゃましました。トムくんの柔らかいお人柄での接客が癖になるステキなお店です。京都へ行くときは是非立ち寄りたいお店。
I’ve ever been here about 3 times. It is a fantastic bar because of the master Tom’s wonderful hospitality.
さて、最近ハマってる「ご当地ゆるバッヂ」作り、今回は京都と言うことで京都タワー、伏見稲荷、金閣寺等描きました。
I’m into making handmade buttons local version of “Yuru-Badge” recently. I drew Kyoto Tower, Fushimi Inari or Kinkakuji like that for Kyoto show.
手作り「Candy Strap」も追加生産。世界にただ一つ、飴玉みたいなオリジナルとんぼ玉をストラップにしました。
I also made “Candy Straps”. These glass beads looks like candies, don’t you think so? Each of them are only on in this world.
パッケージの絵も描いたよ。I drew pictures for package.
さてライブ当日の朝、大阪を出て京都の久御山辺りに来た時、遠くに煙が！ネットで調べたところによると、京都府警のヘリポート近くで資材が燃えたらしい。
Now, we left Osaka in the morning. I found smoke far away around Kumiyama, Kyoto. I searched it and they say some storage burnt close to heliport of Kyoto Prefectural Police.
我々は無事会場に到着。磔磔の入口。こちらは元酒蔵だったそうです。
We arrived at the venue Taku Taku, Kyoto safely. This building used to an old sake brewery.

機材を搬入した後は、サウンドチェック。今日のベースはなるちゃんです。
We loaded in the venue and did soundcheck. Today’s bassist is Naru.
その後、お昼ご飯を食べに新京極へ。京都の老舗ティーハウス「リプトン」で「スリランカカレー」を食べました。とってもおいしかった！！
After that, we went to have lunch to Shin Kyogoku street. I ate “Sri Lanka style Curry” at LIPTON Tea Room. This was so tasty!!!
会場までの帰りにお寺を見つけたので散策さしてもらいました。
I found a temple on the way back to the venue and walked in.
がん封じのお寺だそうです。京都はあちらこちらに歴史のあるお寺や神社があります。
They say that this buddhist temple keens for keeping people’s healthy especially keep away cancer. There are many old historical temples and shrines in Kyoto everywhere.
会場に戻って今日の出演者のみなさんと記念撮影。
I went back to the venue and took pictures with other acts.
まずは、今回「タケダ2000GTと彼のモーターショウ」でドラムを叩いている、少年ナイフの前ドラマー、えみちゃんと。お元気そうで何より！久々お会い出来てよかった。
First, pic with our former drummer Emi who supported “Takeda 2000GT and his Motorshow”. I was happy to see her healthy.
その次、「水中、それは苦しい」のみなさんと。
Next, with a band “Suchu Soreha Kurushii”.
そして、「おおひなたごうのギャグ漫画家大喜利バトル!!」にご出演の漫画家の先生たち、おおひなたごう先生、和田ラヂヲ先生、見ル野栄司先生、なかむらみつのり先生の面々と。
Then with four Manga artists, Oohinata Gou, Wada Radio, Miruno Eiji and Nakamura Mitsunori. They performed comic talk show.
和気あいあいとした楽屋！そしてライブ開始！「タケダ2000GTと彼のモーターショウ」ドラムはえみちゃん、ベースはトムくんです。
The atmosphere of the dressing room was peaceful. Then the show started from “Takeda 2000GT and his Motorshow”. Emi played the drums and Tom played the bass.
「水中、それは苦しい」ギター、バイオリン、ドラムの楽器編成です。写真には写ってないけど、歌とギターのジョニー大蔵大臣が右側におられます。
“Suichu Soreha Kurushii” started. They are 3 piece band consist of guitar, violin and drums. On the right side, there was a guitarist Jonny Okuradaijin, no picture though.
ギャグ漫画家大喜利バトルがはじまりました。会場で笑いの渦が巻き起こっていました。
Manga artists talk show has started. The audience was laughing.
楽屋にて3時間半ほど過ごしたのちいよいよ我々、少年ナイフのショータイム！ライブ写真は太田智子さん。いつもサイコーな写真をとってくださいます。
I spent 3 hours and a half at the dressing room and finally our showtime had come. Live pictures were taken by Tomoko Ota. She always takes wonderful pictures!
