今日は、876キロメートルの長距離移動の後、プリマベーラサウンドに出演という超ハードスケジュール。日本で言うなら大阪から仙台よりも少し遠いぐらい。
朝7時半トリノのバンドアパートを出発。
Our schedule today is very hard. We play at Primavera Sound after 876km drive. The distance is a little bit longer than between Osaka and Sendai in Japan.
We left the band apartment at 7:30am.
山、山、山。
Mountain, mountain and mountains.
車であんまり寝られないので、景色を見ながらiPadで落ちものゲームしてたら、電池なくなった。
I usually can’t sleep in a van. I was playing a puzzle game with iPad, the battery was died.
バルセロナに近づいて来た。
9時間の移動の末、やっと会場に着いたものの、入口がわからない。ガードマンに聞いても英語がわからないので意思の疎通が困難。小一時間車でウロウロしてやっと案内してくれる人に会えた。
Coming near to Barcelona.
We finally arrived at the venue after 9 hours drive but we couldn’t find the gate. We asked to some guard person but they don’t understand English. We got lost for an hour. At last we could find a person who takes us to the stage.
プリマベーラサウンドは、日本で言うなればサマーソニックみたいな感じ。
楽屋に荷物を置いて、ビデオ取材を受けた。会場の食べ物ブースに行って話をするというもの。カートに乗せてもらって会場内を移動。
インタビューは無事終わり、インタビュアーの方と記念撮影。
PRIMAVERA SOUND looks like Summer Sonic of Japan.
I dropped my luggage at a dressing room and had an video interview. It’s mainly about food. I rode in a cart and moved to the food booth.
I took a photo with the interviewer.
食べ物ブースでは、調理人が丁寧に焼き茄子の皮を剥いておられた。
Chefs were peeling aubergine carefully.
一皿出してもらった。日本の焼き茄子とコンセプトが対局。オリーブオイルがかかってて、チーズが添えてあり、濃厚な味。これだけでメインディッシュになりそう。
I was served a plate. It was totally different from Japanese style baked aubergine. It was with olive oil and cheese. Very thick. It can be a main dish.
時間がなくて急いで食べたけどとても美味しかった！ご馳走さま！朝からずっと車移動で、お腹が空いていたので、ありがたい。
I had to eat quickly but it was very delicious. Gracious! It was thankful since I couldn’t have time to eat during in the van.
右端の方がメインシェフで、つい先日まで2週間ほど日本に来られていて、お料理の研究の為、居酒屋を中心に50軒ほど食べ歩きされたそう。食への探求、すばらしい。
A person on the right is the main chef. He has been to Japan for 2 weeks to research Japanese food mainly Izakaya. He visited 50 restaurants in 2 weeks. It’s wonderful to make efforts for making delicious food.
その後、ラインチェック。
Then line check.
ステージからの眺め。向こうは海。フィリピンのマニラでライブした時を思い出すなぁ。あの時も向こうが海だった。

キャビネットは、会場のものを使ったけど、アンプヘッドは、自前のYAMAHA。音のセッティングを既にしてあるし、小さくて扱いやすい！
I used a cabinet at the venue. Amp head which was already sat the sound is mine. This YAMAHA amp head is so useful. It’s compact and easy to carry.

いざ、本番！
満員のお客さんがステージに来てくれた！一緒に歌ったり、踊ったり、大変盛り上がった！皆さんありがとう！グラシャス！
It’s show time!
Our stage area was full! The audience was very happy, friendly and cheerful. Many people were singing along us. Thanks everyone! Gracious!

その後、今回のツアーポスターと、プリマベーラサウンドの少年ナイフポスターを描いてくれたイタリア人イラストレーターのBriちゃんの物販ブースへ。メールではやり取りしてたけど会ったことはなかった。なので、感動の対面！ライブを見てくれてて、喜んでもらえたみたい。
かなりの力作！カッコいい作品。

その後、徒歩でケータリング会場がある近くのホテルへ。
After that we walked to a hotel close to the venue where the catering room there.
ほかのステージを横目に、ケータリング会場へ。

綺麗な夕焼け。夜の10時前ぐらいなんだけど、まだ明るい。
Beautiful sunset. It was around 10pm. Still light outside.
夜通しやってるのかな？まだまだお客さんが入ってきてる。
Is this an all through the night event? People were still making a long line to enter.
ケータリング会場の食堂で、やっと一息つけた。猛烈に慌ただしい1日。
We finally got relaxed at the catering room. It was very busy day!

Sea bass?
野菜もりもり美味しかった！スパゲティは、伊勢うどんレベルの柔らかさ。
I ate big portion of salad. Yum.? Spaghetti noodles were very soft.
ワイン飲んでほっこりと。
Having a glass of red wine.
アイスクリームも食べた。食べすぎ注意。
I ate ice cream, too. I have to be careful not to overeat.
ホテルの最上階の窓から写真撮った。その後Pep兄貴が車を回してくれて、我々の泊まるホテルへ。ゴージャスなホテルで1人一部屋。ゆっくりできた。ベッドに入って瞬殺で夢の中。
I took a photo from the top of the hotel. Pep took our van from the venue and went to our hotel. It was a gorgeous single room for each of us. I could get relaxed. Went to bed and slept very quickly.
