May 14th Travel Day from Vienna to Magdeburg

From Vienna AUSTRIA to Magdeburg GERMANY

移動日、オーストリアのウィーンから、ドイツのMagdeburgへ。

ウィーン市内、馬車が走ってた。

機嫌よく車で走ってたら、チェコに入った辺りで警察に止められた！覆面パトカーが、止まれのサイン。何や、何や！

When we were driving smoothly, an unmarked police car gave instructions to stop our car. What’s happening?!

止められたのはこの辺り。高速道路の通行証貼ってない、との事で、その場で通行証を購入。

We stopped around here. We had to buy a pass of highway. We bought it there.

それから約2時間後、またまた警察に止められた。外国の車、目をつけられてる。通行証持っていたので事なきを得る。

2 hours later, police car showed us the STOP sign again. They might be checking foreign cars. We have already had a pass and it was okay.

そこから、チェコを抜けてドイツに入ったところでまた警察に止められた！この時も通行証持っていたからお咎め無し。各場所で車の荷台見せて、パスポートも見せた。3回も目ぇつけられるなんて！

After that, we passed through Czech and entered into Germany. We had an instruction of STOP again! We had the pass and there was no problem. We had to show our passports and carrier three times. Oh, no!

お陰で少し時間がかかったけど、出発から約9時間後、Magdeburgのホテルに到着。ペップ兄貴、運転おつかれさま！

We took a little long but we arrived at a hotel after 9 hours drive. Great job, Pep!

Postcards from the hotel. I went to a supermarket at the next door.

バンドのポスターを持ち帰り用として丸める為の輪ゴム購入。スーパーの人が英語わからなくて、輪ゴム置いてある場所聞くのも一苦労。スーパーの人はグミって言うてはったので、何となく通じたかなと思ったけど、結局お客さんが英語に訳してくれて無事買えた。

I bought rubber bands for our posters. It was hard to explain about rubber bands because clerks didn’t understand English. They said GUMI. It may be rubber bands in Germany. Anyway helped by a customer who translated into English, I could buy them.
