11時にホテルを出発して、途中休憩のサービスエリアのスタバにて非常食としてハム、レタス、チーズのサンドイッチ購入。7ドル84セント也。日本円にして863円ぐらいかぁー。
食べずにホテルまで持参。
We left the hotel at 11am and dropped at a truck stop. I bought a sandwich as my emergency food at Starbucks in the truck stop. It was $7.84-.
I took it to the hotel.
ピッツバーグに入ってきた。古い建物も多い。写真をとるあつこさん。
We entered into downtown Pittsburgh. There are many old buildings. Atsuko is taking pictures.
まずは、楽器屋さんへ。明日のアコースティックセッションで使うためのパーカッションを購入するため。
Then we dropped at an musical instrument store to buy tambourine and maracas for the acoustic session tomorrow.
バイオリンからエレキギターまで幅広い品揃え。二階。
They sell various instruments from violins to electric guitars. Upstairs.

私は個人的に音楽用耳栓を購入。低音と高音をカットするタイプ。
この後、一旦ホテルにチェックイン。ちびくろちゃん、つまり電子レンジ用炊飯容器に、お米を浸けて置きました。
コーヒー作って、サンドイッチも半分食べました。
I personally bought ear plugs for music. They cut high and low sound.
Then we checked in the hotel. I soaked rice in a microwave rice cooker.
I made a cup of coffee and ate the half of sandwich.
会場到着。9月に入ったにもかかわらず、異常な暑さ。
Arrived at the venue. It is already September but very hot and humid.

There were stuffed deer. They must be husband and wife.
搬入口。西洋は裏口の壁に絵を描いてある所が多いですね。
Load in entrance. I see graffiti often at the load in entrance wall in western countries.
車内にある食品入れのトートバッグの底からバナナ発見。エンジンの熱で温められていて、ふにゃふにゃ。
I found an old banana from our food bag in our car. It was heated by car engine and get softer.
もったいないね。

搬入、セッティングの後、サウンドチェック。Jakeがギターをチェック中。
Did sound check after load in and setting as usual. Jake is checking the guitar.

楽屋へ行ったら、プロモーターさんがお弁当を用意してくれていた。前回は、ベトナム料理のバーミチェリを用意してくれていた。細やかな心遣い、ありがとうございます。
Our promoter prepared food for us at the dressing room. He bought Vermicelli last time. Thanks a lot.

ライブはまたまた大盛況！暑くて暑くて汗だくです。
The show was so excited with cheerful audience. It was so hot and I sweat a lot.

ホテルに帰って、全米オープンテニスでナダル対ティームの試合をビール飲みながら観戦。すごくいい試合で、フルセットの末ナダルが勝利。
その後、部屋に電子レンジがなかったので、夜中にロビーへ下りて行って電子レンジでお米を炊きました。
After we came back to the hotel, Atsuko and I watched the US Open Tennis match on TV. It was Nadal versus Thiem. It was very good match. Nadal bested Thiem on full set.
After that we went down to the dinning on the first floor to make steamed rice. Because there was no microwave in our room.
部屋に持って上がって、今日は三角ににぎってみました。
I made triangle shape rice balls this time at the room.
