この日は前日に移動済みなので、夕方までフリータイム。あつこと私は、朝10:00にホテルを出てニューポートの町を散策に出かけました。
We’ve already arrived here then we were free until load in time in the afternoon. Atsuko and I went to see the Newport town.
朝、ホテルのフロントへ行ったら大きな犬が！
There was a big dog at the lobby of the hotel.
町散策、第一の目的は、International Tennis Hall of Fame。ここでは、テニスのトーナメントが毎年開かれていて、テニス博物館があります。
The first purpose of sightseeing was going to International Tennis Hall of Fame. Tennis tournament is held here once a year and there is a tennis museum.
まるでイギリスのウインブルドンみたい。ハードコートが中心のアメリカにおいてグラスコートというのは珍しい。
It lookes like Wimbledon in England. Hard courts are popular in the U. S. but grass courts are rare like this place.
女子の国別対抗戦フェドカップの70年代アメリカチームのユニフォーム。かわいい。

今年はカルロビッチが優勝しました。日本の杉田祐一選手も出場していました。楽しすぎて、長いこと居てました。
Karlovic got a championship this year. Yuichi Sugita from Japan played here, too.
第二の目的は、昼食。港の近くのMori Sushi と言うお店で、
The second purpose was eating lunch. I had Unadon at Mori Sushi close to the harbor.
鰻丼！食べました。お店は大体グーグルマップで探しています。
I usually serch restaurant by Google Maps.

最後の目的は港へ行く事。とてもきれいでした。
The final destination was harbor. Everything was beautiful.

ホテルに帰って会場入り。会場は、こちら。古くて格調高い建物です。
Went back to the hotel and loaded in the venue.

エビスパゲティを出して頂きました。そして一旦ホテルに帰って出番の準備をして、ライブ。今日のお客さんは、かなりノリノリでした。踊ったり、チャチャ入れたり、ホント楽しい。みなさん、大統領選で投票やら、結果を見たりでお忙しい中来てくださってありがとうございます！
I had shrimp spaghetti at the venue. Then we went back to the hotel again and prepared for the show. Most of all people were dancing so cheerfully. It was so fun. Thank you very much for coming in spite of that they must be busy to watch the results of election for the president.
バーの方のテレビでは、アメリカ大統領選挙速報が映っていました。さぁ、大国アメリカが新大統領になって世界の情勢はどうなるのか。
The U.S. President election news was on TV at the bar. How is the world going with the new president of the U.S.A.?!
