今日の移動は休みなしで約6時間。朝は何も食べずにホテルを11時に出発。何もない草生えてるようなところ通って何時間か行くと町が見えた。ナッシュビルかなぁ。
It’s a drive day today. It takes 6 hours without any break. I ate nothing in the morning and left the hotel at 11am. Driving through flat ground with grass a few hours, I saw a town. Is it Nashville?
そこからしばらく走って、途中、タイ料理屋さんで昼食休憩。ランチにはスープが付いてくる。
Driving while and stopped at a Thai restaurant for lunch. A cup of coffee soup was coming with lunch menu.
具はお米、鶏肉、キャベツ。塩からめ。
Rice, chicken and cabbage in soup. Salty.
バンコックヌードルなるものを注文。やはり塩からめ。鶏肉が常温だった。野菜不足しがちなので、ブロッコリーと人参食べられてよかったけど。
I ordered Bangkok noodles. It was a little salty, too. Chicken was room temperature. It was good for me to eat broccoli and carrot because my body needed vegetables.
とても暑い！暑いと疲れるし、汗かいてすぐ洗濯もの増えるし、何より蚊がいるのが一番困る。蚊に刺されたところはまだまだ腫れてる。
It was very hot! Hot weather annoys me. Getting tired, sweaty, needs to laundry soon, the worst is mosquitoes. My arms where the spots of mosquito bites are still red and swollen.
ホテルに到着。ホテル内のランドリーへ。アメリカのホテルは時々コインランドリーあるので助かる。ランドリーのドアは、暗証番号方式。ホテルの人にランドリーの場所聞いたら、早口でドアの暗証番号教えてくれた。20年前の私ならこれ、聞き取り不可能やろなぁ。亀の甲より年の功やな。
Arrived at a hotel. I went to guest laundry. Hotels in the US sometimes have coin laundry. It’s helpful. You need PIN to enter the laundry. I asked to a hotel clerk where the laundry was. She let me know the PIN of the door in talking fast. I couldn’t understand what her talking when it was 20 years ago. I experienced in these years and now I understand.
洗濯待っている間に夕食。部屋の電子レンジでスパゲティを茹で、みよこさんにもらった缶切りでツナ缶を開けて、マヨネーズ、塩昆布等あえて、ツナスパゲティ作った。「2分で早茹でスパゲティ」使ったけど、電子レンジでは上手く茹だらない。とてもおいしくなかったので、具と少しのスパゲティだけ食べて断念。
I had dinner while I was waiting laundry. I boiled spaghetti with a microwave in my room and topped tuna, mayo and konbu seaweed. I used “quick boiled spaghetti” but it got ugly with microwave. I ate just a little of spaghetti and all of tuna.
バナナ食べといた。万能食品。
I ate a banana. It’s an almighty food.
ビールをコップ一杯とポテトチップスでほっこり。洗濯終わって、あつこと徒歩7分の所のウォールマートへ。ウォールマートは、生活全般何でも揃うお店。
I got relaxed with a cup of beer and potato chips. After laundry was finished, Atsuko and I walked 7 minutes to Walmart near by. It’s sells everything necessary for daily life.
広い、大きい。Huge.
ポケモンのカップケーキ売ってた。
Pokémon cupcakes were sold.
牛パジャマ。Cow pajama.

ハロウィン商戦の真っ只中。
Halloween sale was happening.
パンダの着ぐるみ99ドル(税別)。
Panda costume costs $99 without tax.
おもちゃ沢山売ってた。バービーちゃんの種類豊富。宇宙飛行士から政治家まで。
I saw many Barbie dolls. There were good varieties from astronauts to politician.

結局、普通の少し細めのスパゲティと、ブルーベリースムージーとワインを買おうとレジに行ったら、お酒を買うのには身分証が必要との事。私もあつこも持参してなかったので、ワイン以外を買って一旦ホテルに帰り、再度身分証を持参し、ウォールマートへ。ホテルからウォールマートって歩道もないようなところを歩かなくちゃならない険しさ。どんだけワイン飲みたいねんっ。さっきのレジの人は、もう帰っていて、レジのところに私たちが買えなかったワインがそのまま置いてあったので、別のレジで身分証見せて精算。お酒の購入に関して、州によって法律が違うんかな？
ワイン少し飲んで、カップうどん食べて12時ごろ就寝。
Atsuko and I went to cashier and tried to buy thin spaghetti, blueberry smoothie and wine. But we had to show ID when we buy alcohol. Both of us didn’t have ID with us. Went back to the hotel once and went to Walmart with ID. There was no sidewalk. The way to Walmart was a little wild but we wanted to drink a bit of wine.
When we went back, the clerk at the cashier which we used had already gone but I found the wine there. I took them to another cashier and showed the ID and could buy them. Is there any low depends on states?
I had a bit of wine and cup Udon noodles in the room and went to bed around 12am.
