10時にホテルを出て2時間ほど走ったあたり。クリーブランドの町が車窓から見えた。
We left the hotel at 10am. After 2 hours drive, I saw the town of Cleveland from car window.
その後午後1時ごろ休憩は、ガソリンスタンドLOVE’Sにて。マクドナルドとサブウェイがあり、わたしとあつこ以外は何かしら食べてた。
Around 1pm, we took a break at a gas station LOVE’s. There were McDonald’s and SUBWAY there. Other than Atsuko and I ate something.

わたしは車内で朝食会場から持ち帰ったらゆで卵にマヨネーズをかけてたべた。
I ate a boiled egg from hotel breakfast topped mayo in the van.
雨降ってきた。
Started raining.

町が見えてきた。
Town of Buffalo was coming in sight.
ホテルに荷物を置いて会場へ。
Dropped off our luggage and went to the venue.
沢山の人が集まってる。フリーコンサート。
Many people were gathering. Free concert.

ところで、このイベントは、2014年にも出してもらっています。前回は野外の会場。今回は屋内。前回と比べて規模が大きくなり、お客さんもたくさん来られています。
We were invited to this festival 5 years ago. The venue last time was outside open air. It’s in door this time. This event was getting bigger than before. There were many audience.

和太鼓チームも心地いい音で叩いておられました。
このフェス、地元の人々に愛されているんだなーって思う。素晴らしいイベントです。

P-Yellow さんも居た！この後来週の日曜にテキサスのオースティンで、対バンします。
P-Yellow was there, too! He will support us on next Sunday in Austin TX.
アメリカの同じレーベルのバンドMOLICE のみなさんともまた会えてよかった。今日出演されていました。
I was good to see the band MOLICE who are our US label mate. They played here today.

イベントの都合上、あつことわたしの立ち置が反対で演奏しなくちゃならなかった。アンプは、ライブ直前に、わたしのヤマハアンプヘッドに使えるキャビネットが無いので、フェンダーアンプに繋ぎますと聞いていたけど、ステージに上がってみたらフェンダーではなくてVOXに繋がれていて、スイッチが分からなくて焦った。あとは、ドラムの音がモニターしにくかったりバタバタではありましたが、結果オーライ。満員のお客さんの前でライブは楽しくできました。

Atsuko and I had to play at opposite positions. Bass amp and guitar amp should be stayed in opposite side for the event. I was told just before the show that I could use Fender Twin amp because there was no cabinet for my YAMAHA amp head but when I got up to the stage, my guitar was connected to a VOX amp. I couldn’t find the on off switch and I got flustered a bit. I couldn’t hear the drum sound well. Anyway, I could enjoy the gig with packed good crowd.
