朝起きて昨晩浸け置いたお米を、部屋備え付けの電子レンジで炊く。だんだん美味しく炊けるコツがわかって来た。水は多めがいいみたい。
Got up in the morning and made steamed rice with microwave in the hotel room. I’m getting skilled to make good steamed rice. Steam with full of water seems good.
昨日、半分残しておいた鶏そぼろ丼のそぼろをおにぎりにトッピングして、道中弁当に。
朝ごはんは、コーヒー沸かして、昨日85℃のパン屋さんのレモンカステラをあつこにもらった。鶏そぼろおにぎりもひとつ食べた。おいしい。
I made rice balls topped with seasoned ground chicken from yesterday’s nana’s green tea and took them for driving.
12時にシアトルのホテルをチェックアウトして、再び85℃のパン屋さんに寄ってもらった。
We left the hotel at 12pm and dropped at 85℃ bakery. again.
今日買ったのはこちら。移動日オフ日に備えて、食パンも買った。アメリカの食パンは、小さくて薄くて味が日本の食パンとは全然違う。85℃は、台湾系だけど、少しは日本のパンに近い。
I bought these. I got enough bread for travel day and a day off. Taste of American bread and Japanese are different. This bakery’s is from Taiwan but taste is similar to Japanese bread.
車はポートランドに入った。ホテルに荷物を置いて、会場のDante’s へ。
We drove to Portland and dropped our luggage at a hotel. Then went to the venue Dante’s.
この街にもチャイナタウンがあるんだね。
Dante’s は、たびたびお世話になっている会場です。搬入終えて、りさちゃんときらちゃんは向かいのVoodooドーナツを買いに行きはった。いつも列ができてて並ばなくちゃ買えないのだ。
There is a China town here, too.
We played several times here Dante’s. After load in, Risa went to buy Voodoo Donuts with Kira. She needs to wait in a long queue.

夕食は、りさちゃん、きらちゃんは、ラーメンを食べに行った。私は会場のピザを、楽屋で。毎回ここのピザを頂くけど、前より更に美味しくなってるんじゃないかな？とにかく一切れが大きい。直径60センチぐらいちゃうかな。
Risa and Kira went to eat Ramen noodles for dinner. I ate pizza from the venue. I always eat it when I play here. I think the taste is getting more tasty. Anyway, it’s very big. The diameter seems around 60 cm.
楽屋が異常に暑いので、ピザ食べ終わったら、あつことコーヒー飲みに近所のカフェへ。ステージは、昨日に引き続きサポートしてくれる、Ichi Bichiのセッティングがされている。
外に出たら、三連休初日の土曜日の夜という事もあり、町はどんちゃん騒ぎ中。
The dressing room was very warm, I went to a cafe in the neighbors after eating pizza. The stage was setting for today’s first band Ichi Bichi.
When I went out, the town was noisy because of the weekend. Also it was the first day of 3 days holidays. It was Labor Day on Monday.
アメリカではほとんどのカフェが5時とか6時とかに閉まってしまう。ここは、ホテルのロビーのカフェなので遅くまで開いてるみたい。助かった。涼しいし。
Usually most of all cafe close at 5pm or 6pm in the US. But this cafe open until late at night because it is at the lobby of a hotel. I was lucky to find this cafe. It was not warm and comfortable.
カフェにて。晩にコーヒー飲んだら、寝られへんけど、明日は移動日やから、まぁええか。
I can’t get sleep when I drink coffee at night but it was all right. It will be a travel day and no show tomorrow.
カフェから戻ったら、会場の前にお客さんの列が。ありがとうございます。
When Atsuko and I came back to the venue from the cafe, there was a queue of our audience. Thank you so much!
楽屋に戻った。モニターに、2番目に出演の、Me Like Beesが映ってる。
I went back to the dressing room and the second band Me like Bees was on the monitor screen.
またまた、楽屋にてドラムヘッドアート作成。筆の赴くままに。テーマは力強さ。
I drew “Drumhead Art” again in the dressing room. I drew freely and the theme is “Powerful”.

そして間も無くライブ。大入り満員のお客さんでかなりの盛り上がりでした。手拍子やキャンディーコールや、ショウネンナイフコール等巻き起こった！ありがとう！

We got this after show from our fan. The box was very heavy and donuts were so colorful. Thanks a lot!
会場プロモーターから直径60センチの会場のピザも2枚頂いた。ホントに大きい。ジェイクが車の中で、膝の上に抱えてくれている。
We also got 2 boxes of pizza from the venue promoter. It’s really big. Jake was holding the box in our van.
夜中の街を通ってホテルに帰還。
Driving through the town in midnight, we went back to the hotel.
部屋で頂いたドーナツの中のひとつはこんなんです。m&mがトッピングされてる。
I had one of them at my hotel room. Topped m&m.
さあ、浸けていたお米でご飯を炊こう！と思ったら、部屋に電子レンジがない事に気がついた！仕方ないから階下の朝食会場へ行って電子レンジにかけた。
When I wanted to make rice, I found that there was no microwave in my room. I went down to the hotel dinning and used microwave.
加熱時間は約9分。その間、暇なので、Cradle of Empires という落ちものゲームをする。このゲーム、3年はハマってるなぁ。まもなくご飯が炊けた。
Heating time was 9 min. I played a match 3 game “Cradle of Empires” during the spare time. I play this game for 3 years. I really like this. The rice got ready.
部屋に持ち帰り、おにぎり作っておやすみなさい。
I took it back and made rice balls in the room and went to bed.
