After 4 hours drive from New Jersey, we arrived at Washington DC! I saw Washington monument from our van.

Checked in the hotel and went to today’s Ramen restaurant, Haikan Ramen. It’s stylish.
一旦宿に荷物を置いてすぐに、本日のラーメン店、Haikanラーメンへ。おしゃれなお店です。
トイレには1970年大阪万国博覧会のポスターが。
There was a poster of Expo ’70 of Osaka.
NPR’s The Saltのインタビューを受けたのち、ラーメンを注文。
We got an interview of NPR’s The Salt and ordered Ramen.
私のオーダーは、醤油ラーメン。レストランオーナーが昔食べた、昭和時代の札幌ラーメンがコンセプトだそうです。焦がし醤油の風味がたまりません。日本から取り寄せたという麺もプリプリでおいしい！
My order was Shoyu Ramen. The concept is Showa period Sapporo Ramen which the owner ate when he was young. Roasted soy sauce soup tastes good. The nooodles imported from Sapporo, Hokkaido Japan tasted so good.

We arrived at Black Cat with a few minutes ride by taxi from Haikan ramen restaurant. I’m sure we’ve played here long time ago.
Haikan Ramenからタクシーですぐ、本日の会場、Black Catに到着。たしか、随分前にもここでライブしたことあります。

晩ご飯は、会場でしつらえてもらったサラダをホテルにていただきました。日本から持参の塩昆布とマヨネーズをトッピングして食べました。おいしかった！
We went back to the hotel and I ate salad which was catered by the venue. I put salted seaweed and mayo from Japan on the top. Yum!
