10th October sightseeing in Cardiff

お昼12時にホテルをチェックアウトしたのち、午後3時45分までカーディフの町でフリータイム。
皆、三々五々好きなことをして過ごしました。私は、街の散策へ。
We checked out the hotel at noon and had free time until 15:45 in Cardiff.
Everybody spent their time as their way. I went to sight seeing.

歩いていたら、昔ながらの市場を発見。食品を扱っている店や、生地屋さん、レコード屋さん、おもちゃ屋さん、軽食喫茶など、さまざまなかわいいお店がありました。
I found a market when I walking in the town. There were various kind of cute shops which deals grocery, cloth, records, toys and cafe.

おしゃれなお店が並ぶ、アーケードの小道。その一角のオーガニックカフェでランチ。
There was a tiny arcade lane which has fashonable shops. I had lunch at an organic cafe.

そして、2000年の歴史の誉れ高き、カーディフ城へ。昔は貴族の所有だったそうだけど、今は市の持ち物らしい。戦の跡が。
中世の騎士のごとく。売店では「少年ナイフ」を売っていました。
それと、アメリカでもよく見かける、貨幣をペッちゃんこにして、記念のメダルをつくるマシンもありました。
日本やったら、これ、法律違反ちゃうん？でも、わたし、このマシーンが好きで、いろんな場所で見かけるたびに、作っています。

Then, I went to the Cardiff castle which is 2000 years historical building. I’ve heard that it was owned by nobles in old time but now city halls.
There were many battles there. At the castle shop, it sells ‘Shonen Knife’. Like a middle ages knight.
I found medal machine. I saw them in America often, too. I like this machine a lot. I always make a medal with a coin when I find this.
